Christopher L. Brown is a Los Angeles based production designer. Working in both film and television, Mr. Brown has a nuanced understanding of narrative visual storytelling .

Mr. Brown has most recently designed the limited series The Last Thing He Told Me, for Apple TV+ and Hello Sunshine. Previously he has designed the feature film AM I OK, for directors Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne, Billy Ray’s The Comey Rule for Showtime, episodes of Matthew Weiner's Anthology The Romanoffs for Amazon Studios, multiple seasons of iNSECURE for HBO/3Arts, Halt & Catch Fire for AMC/Gran Via, Boss for Starz/Lionsgate, season opening episodes of Mad Men for AMC Television, the pilots Untitled Jessica Gao for ABC, Meet Jane, for Lifetime/Warner Horizon, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, for Fox Television.

Additionally, Mr. Brown has provided art direction for films including Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals, King Richard, Bombshell, Straight Outta Compton, Bright , and the first installment of the Twilight Saga. Television work includes several emmy award winning and nominated series, including Mad Men, GLEE, and Judging Amy. He received four consecutive Art Directors Guild Awards for Excellence in Production Design for his work on seasons 1-4 on Mad Men.

In addition to designing for the camera, Mr. Brown has extensive experience in theatrical design. His work has been seen on stages across the United States. He holds a Masters Degree in Design for Theatre and Opera from the University of Washington, Seattle, and a Bachelors Degree in Drama and History from Tufts University.
